COVID-19 UPDATE – 11th May 2020

We at Badger take the health and safety of our customers, colleagues, and contractors as our number one priority during these challenging times. We are doing all that we can to assist in containing the spread of COVID-19 and operating the business in the most responsible manner possible.

As you may already be aware, we closed all our sites and Head Office during the week commencing 23rd March. We took this decision for health and safety reasons and whilst construction was still a permitted activity under Government guidelines, we did not feel that it was appropriate or indeed safe to continue until adequate measures were put in place.

All sales ‘open weekend’ events were suspended on all sites from Friday 20th March and they will continue to be closed until further notice. Our selling agents for each development will be dealing with all enquiries remotely, in accordance with their own Covid-19 policies, and extensive details of all our new homes are available to view online via our website or the usual online portals such as Rightmove. We would like to reassure you that we are still on hand to help you through your home buying journey either over the phone or by email. On 11th May we re-opened our Head Office. However, it is currently operating with reduced staff levels to ensure safe working in line with Government guidelines. You may find if you telephone us that you get greeted by the answer phone, please feel free to leave a message, these will be checked regularly. Our general email will also be monitored regularly.

From Monday 11th May we will begin re-opening our sites under safe, controlled, and managed protocols. This means that you will now see members of our construction teams returning to site.

Guidance issued by the CITB and Construction Leadership Council will be followed and all aspects of our site operations have been updated to address the changes that need to be made in order to fully comply with the restrictions imposed by social distancing requirements.


Customers who have purchased a Badger home, but we have not served notice to complete
Unfortunately, those customers who are purchasing a new home which is not yet complete, it is unavoidable that this will delay completion and in turn, your moving in date. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may cause you. Our staff will continue to be in contact with each purchaser individually to discuss your particular circumstances. Our Selling Agents and Sales Staff remain on hand to answer any questions you may have by telephone or email. Please be aware that almost everyone will be in the same position as you, so in effect, everyone in your chain has likely be in a position where they are on hold also. If everyone has patient during these restrictive times, then we can now pick-up where we left of and you can look forward to moving into you new Badger home.

Customers already living in a Badger home
Our Site Managers have now returned to site and can still be contactable via the mobile phone numbers and email addresses already in your possession. All non-emergency appointments and planned remedial works will continue to be on hold. If you have an emergency then please contact your Site Manager and they will do what they can to assist, whilst having to work within Government guidance and legislation. It is inevitable that these restrictions will cause inconvenience. However, we hope you understand why they are in place and that it is the responsible thing to do during these unprecedented times.
