Reedham

Located in the rural heart of the Broadland area of Norfolk, Reedham is the idyllic location set on the banks of the River Yare and surrounded by arable farmland and grazing marshes. A small village set in the Broads National Park and ideally placed for access to Great Yarmouth to the east or to the city of Norwich to the west. The village can be one of two sides as during the summer it is used by holiday makers and tourists visiting the Broads as a place to stop over on their boats and in the winter a more peaceful tranquil setting to soak up the crisp mornings and calm water.
The village is located roughly 6 miles south of Acle which then connects with the A47 to Norwich and Great Yarmouth. It also gives access to the main northern Broads villages, towns and attractions as well as the North Norfolk coast.

The village has its own railway station which connects with Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.

Reedham benefits from typical local amenities for a small village. There is a Primary School, Doctors Surgery, Post Office, a Convenience store and a Fish and Chip Shop. Not to mention two pubs situated along the riverside and a third pub located at the unusual transport link Reedham Chain Ferry which crosses the river to link up to Beccles, Loddon and the Suffolk Coast.

The village has an active Village Hall which hosts a wide variety of groups and clubs for all ages.

The village is also home to Pettitts Animal Adventure Park located on the edge of the village. The park is primarily aimed at young families and includes rides, animals and live shows, nearby is the Humpty Dumpty Brewery. The village is also connected to the long distance Wherrymans Way walk so ideal for walks taking in the flat Norfolk landscape and seeking out wildlife which is abundant.
